1. All wheat flour produced at the North Country Farms mill starts from fresh, locally grown, whole grain wheat.

2. The grain is cleaned and stored indoors. Our three step cleaning process uses air and stainless steel screens and ensures the highest quality grain for stone milling.


3. Clean grain is conveyed into North Country Farms stone mill. The mill utilizes two granite stones to grind wheat into flour. Stone milling occurs at lower temperature and creates a premium flour that is healthier and better tasting.


4. White flour is sifted. The sifter separates bran and germ to create white flour. The production of whole wheat flour does not utilize the final sifting step.wheat_horizontal_textmedium


5. Once the milling is complete, products are packaged and shipped for local delivery. No bleaching agents or other additives are introduced to North Country Farms flour.
